To protect our health and our environment: let’s reject the pesticide omnibus project. Support the demands:
Weaker pesticide regulations put our future at risk. Instead, we need real protection of health, water and environment. Pesticides need regular reassessment. Let’s move away from the old chemical age. Towards a new healthy and biodiverse era!
1) Ban the most toxic pesticides now
This includes pesticides that can harm children’s development, PFAS pesticides, bee killers and substances that disrupt hormones or affect the brain. Stop the use of herbicides like glyphosate that damage health and pollute water.
2) Promote safer ways to farm
Promote crop rotation and good farming practices. Strengthen natural balance to prevent pests. Stimulate the use of mechanical and biological solutions. Ensure that only the least toxic substances be used, as a last resort.
3) Stand with farmers in the transition
Support farmers who produce healthy food, restore biodiversity and create a living landscape. Ensure fair prices for farmers and consumers. Give farmers access to independent advice.
